Terry is a freelance environmental photographer based in Cumbria. He specialises in nature, landscape, travel, underground and underwater photography and has assembled a portfolio of photographs from around the world. This interest has developed from his background in environmental lecturing, and a love of the outdoors and wildlife. He has always been passionate about nature and this is reflected in the pictures he takes. He believes in the pure approach to photography and always strives to keep his pictures as true to life as possible. His aim is to record scenes faithfully with the minimum of filtration and post processing and he prefers to seek and capture wildlife in its native habitat. For many years he enjoyed the rich vibrant colours captured using Velvia film but now, with the aid of a Nikon D200, has become essentially fully digital.

Terry has had a number of photographs published and supplies images to a Photo library.
